Under his supervision with
a collection of 13 raptors (lucky number!) he
performed Raptor Demonstrations for 2
consecutive years, afterwards then leading on to
another 2 consecutive years for The Quebec City
Zoo. After which put the gauntlet down and
became a truck driver of all things and
delivered kayaks across Canada and the USA. It
was in Montana, 5 years later, he drove out of
the tree line of the Rocky mountains when a
golden eagle launched beside him and flew beside
the truck for the following 3 kilometres.
Imprinting yet again in Richi's mind. "He must
fly again!"
Fly he
did...all the way to the UAE. Working with the
Department of Tourism in Dubai, he began flying
falcons again. Based at the Nad Al Shiba Falcon
Hospital his knowledge of caring for the birds
was only hightened. After a short while he was
then whisked away to the UK to another facility
to maintain a collection of 300 raptors. Still,
the time in the desert kept calling to him and
he returned once more. Now on board with ShaheenXtreme he oversees the Baniyas Island project
in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Maintaining the pigeon populations as well as
performing displays for the Desert Islands
Resort and Spa.
Quite
a nice change to living in a dome tent!
