Speedy is a Gyr X Merlin Hybrid. He's 5 years
old and keeps his hunting areas in check. This
little bird has some incredible acrobatic
maneuvers keeping even the most skilled
falconers on their toes. His personality is very
unique. He has to have his bath after every
flight or the following day he will fly off and
sit most disappointed. This bird will fly easily
to a thousand feet then stoop straight onto his
quarry. A rare sight considering his colouring,
its very easy to loose him in the sky on a
cloudy day. A real challenge! |
